Marketing Intern (CLOSED)
About the Role:
The marketing team is looking for a US-based fall/winter intern to join our team. Marketing interns will support new titles and the overall marketing efforts for the company. The position spans 4-6 months.
What will you be doing:
Conduct competitive/market research and track industry trends to identify new marketing opportunities suitable for each book (new and published titles).
Develop budgets for book marketing campaigns.
Help manage promotional calendar for new/old titles.
Participate in marketing/brainstorming meetings for new titles.
Work closely with design and social media team.
Create concepts and graphics for new book campaigns/book launch, newsletter, etc.
Grow marketing and sales relationships within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and execute marketing goals for the company.
Develop social media campaigns for new titles.
Think outside the box and bring ideas to collaborative creative meetings.
Develop and maintain marketing campaigns(s).
Keep up to date with email best practices and current publishing/book marketing trends
Who we are looking for:
Intern must be familiar with Canva and/or other graphic generating platforms.
Intern must be familiar with (or willing to learn) all aspects of marketing and sales.
Intern must be creative and comfortable in collaborative work environments.
Social Media Intern (CLOSED)
About the Role:
The social media team is looking for a US-based fall/winter intern to join our team. Marketing interns support the ongoing social media efforts for the company across all social media platforms. The position spans 4-6 months.
What will you be doing:
Conduct competitive/market research and track industry trends to identify new marketing opportunities suitable for each book.
Develop budgets for each new title pre/post campaigns.
Help manage social media calendar for company across all social media platforms.
Participate in marketing/brainstorming meetings for new titles.
Work collaboratively with editorial and marketing team.
Create concept art and graphics for new book campaigns/book launch and overall social media efforts.
Grow social media/influencer connections within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Set and execute social media goals for the company.
Develop marketing graphics for new/old titles.
Think outside the box and bring ideas to collaborative creative meetings.
Assign projects to complete each book campaign.
Design emails and/or email related assets (banners, buttons, icons, etc.).
Keep up to date with email best practices and current social media trends.
Who we are looking for:
Intern must be familiar with Canva and/or other social media planning platforms.
Intern must be comfortable across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
